I am okay with my progress; these aren’t the only books I’m reading, and I’m going to enjoy getting through as much of my re-read list as I can.  The Chronicles of Narnia are a quick read; it shouldn’t take me that long to get through the books.

Revised re-read challenge

I revised my re-read list a bit to include Robin Hood and Robinson Crusoe and decided to hold off reading the other two books by Jules Verne and some other authors until later.  It is quite long, and I doubt I will get through it all by the end of December but having goals and a list to work with is good. 🙂  Most of the books are classics I haven’t read since high school or when I first started college.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea- Jules Verne- I’m done with this one.  It was fun reading about Captain Nemo and the Nautilus again.   I need to watch the movie now.

Update on re-read challenge

https://mchllmdm.wordpress.com/2015/03/02/the-re-read-challenge/

This month has been slow going; I had to contend with a nasty upper respiratory and didn’t get too far.  That’s okay though.  I did get a late start and I’m not going to kill myself trying to get through all of my list.  I’ll read as many of the books on my list as possible.

I’m a little over halfway through 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, I should be finished with it this next week.  It’s been fun reacquainting myself with the adventures of Captain Nemo and the Nautilus.  I plan to get started on the Chronicles of Narnia next.

I do think rather than read all three books by Jules Verne I have on my list, I will read Robin Hood and Robinson Crusoe and save Journey to the Center of the Earth and Around the World in 80 Days for later, just to get a little variety.  I will post a revised list later.

The re-read challenge

Re-Read Challenge

I found the re-read challenge on Hannah’s site.  http://www.soobsessedwith.com/2014/12/the-re-read-challenge-details-sign-up.html

I thought it would be fun to just make a list of books I want to re-read and see how many I can read before December.  It’s a long list, and I may not get to all of them, but it’s worth a try.

I want to reread The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
